Hi all ^_^ I'm new here and just read the rules and was just strolling along and saw this thread... Nice to meet you!
I'm currently watching the Soul Eater series and I gotta say my favorites are between Witch Hunter Robin, Rurouni Kenshin, and the .hack series, though I'll take a random Furi Kuri break just for giggles hahaha..
And I promise to have my first character up soon! :3

Soul eater is funny... if you get the chance to run into it, Death the Kidd is hilarious solely for one thing xD Btw I gotta say Cadriel recommended this site for me, just to throw it out there and I'm definitely pumped up for running some creative juices again  Thank you for a very well organized and an inspiring site! |

Hello Meru! Welcome to the site I haven't seen Soul Eater yet either but I have heard many good things. Kenshin and the .hacks are great, but I haven't seen or heard much of Witch Hunter Robin. Yeah Shell, art style can ruin a good show or manga...I don't read some manga because the stuff inside is just 'Guh D:' |

Like the manga for Lovely Complex has horrible art in it! (In my opinion) But the story is adorable and is done amazingly well in the Anime.

Also on the topic of art style I find it really weird how manga vs. anime can be so different, and I know I'll probably be shunned for this but I enjoyed the Naruto manga, just hated the anime because I think there is slight difference... and content of course, how dare they dub it so badly xD Furi Kuri manga always hurt my head, but then the anime was alot clearer, but yeah I agree with you guys- the art style shouldn't be a damper on a good series D:

I agree with you on Naruto. I was sevrely disappointed when it was released in America. It's just so much more bloody in the manga, and in Japan.

Not to mention that the Naruto anime has like a hundred or so filler episodes between the end of the main story arc for the first series and the start of Shippuden. Shippuden is much better than the first series...>.> I've only seen a bit but yeah, much better.

Same goes for Gundam Wing as well...minus the filler. I have yet to see a non enthralling filler episode from that series. 'Probably why I love it so much.

We all know gundam wing was amazing. But I have to say the anime I love right now but its filler pisses me off so much is Bleach
